Leadership

This track is designed for OR leaders who are looking to thrive in the most challenging environment. Hear from a diverse group of peers on success stories and lessons learned in the OR. This track focuses on developing effective leaders, novel approaches to managing team dynamics, legislative advocacy and solutions to the staffing crisis.

New Leader

The New Leader Track is designed for the novice OR leader who has recently been promoted in their role or would like to improve their skills to successfully lead the surgical suite. A wide range of topics will cover critical business concepts, human resource issues, patient safety and quality, staff retention, team communication and much more.

Recommended for leaders with less than 5 years experience or veterans seeking a refresher.

PACU/Post Op

The PACU Track is designed for perioperative nurse leaders who focus on post-anesthesia care for any surgical specialty. The PACU sessions will include topics on creative strategies to increase staffing capacity, innovative approaches to post-anesthesia care and take-home tools to implement at any sized facility to increase patient satisfaction.
