Why Attend

36 YEARS OF CULTIVATING CONNECTIONS AND EDUCATION AMONG PERIOPERATIVE LEADERS

The OR Manager Conference is a premier opportunity to learn and network among the brightest minds in perioperative leadership. Our attendees return each year for the hands-on education, collaboration, and opportunities to find solutions to their everyday challenges in their surgical suite.

Each year, our Program Committee convenes to develop a conference program that builds upon last year’s learnings and arms leaders with strategies and tactics to meet and exceed their goals. Our goal is to educate leaders and foster relationships among colleagues that will exceed expectations in the future of surgical suite management and patient care.

HELPING NEW LEADERS THRIVE

Educational sessions tailored for new managers are top tier. By providing the building blocks in financial management, operational excellence, supervision, and more, you will walk away with the strategies you need to succeed in your new role.

KEEPING TENURED LEADERS SHARP

Seasoned perioperative leaders need to keep their finger on the pulse of the industry. What worked five, four, or even three years ago may not be benefitting your facility in 2023 and beyond. OR Manager Conference offers the tools you need to stay sharp in your role, improve outcomes, and reinvigorate your passion for your work.

“OR Manager [Conference] was where I learned how to talk to [senior leadership] about getting capital funding, how to manage my finances, how to bring about processes that would bring about a better bottom line. OR Manager [Conference] is the only place that you can get that.”

Cindy Kildgore, MSHA, BSN, CNOR

Don’t just take our word for it, see what other perioperative leaders have to say!

WHO WE ARE

The OR Manager Conference, founded in 1987, is celebrating 36 years of educating the perioperative community. Since the early days of the conference, OR Manager has improved every year by expanding educational offerings – including targeted education for ambulatory surgery centers and those involved in PACU management, CE presentations on the exhibit hall floor, poster presentations, and pre-conference workshops. The OR Manager Conference team relies on the Program Committee to help plan education opportunities that directly impact the everyday lives of OR leaders.

The ASC Leader Summit features education for the expanding needs of same-day surgery. As we are seeing a record number of ASCs being acquired or launched new by health organizations across the U.S., and more procedures are transitioned to the outpatient environment, it is more important than ever for leaders to recognize those changes specific to the ambulatory surgery setting.

Those involved in PACU management can learn the best practices to enhance throughput and improve patient outcomes. The PACU/Post-Op track features PACU experts who offer insight into innovative ways to optimize the PACU, increase collaboration from pre-op to post-op, and share their experiences in managing their own PACU department.

Leaders of the surgical suite attend OR Manager Conference every year to get hands-on education and experience to take back to their organizations. More than 900 attendees join us each year to:

  • Gather educational and tactical resources through conference keynotes and breakout sessions
  • Visit with vendors, compare products, and learn about the latest advancements for the surgical suite
  • Expand their network (and have a little fun!)
  • Earn continuing education credits

Join us this September as we explore the latest research and best practices in your choice of 6 breakouts tracks, plus keynotes, pre-conference workshops, networking, exhibitor presented CE programs, and poster presentations. Recognize leaders from across the nation with OR Manager Awards Presentation. Engage with over 140 exhibitors in the exhibit hall and connect with some of the brightest minds during any of our networking events in the exhibit hall or receptions.
